Pokemon Crown Tundra – How Dynamax Adventure works

The process of creating Dynamax Adventures is fairly straightforward. You can fight alongside AI teammates or real players on the internet. I recommend you go online if you can, as AI can be pretty dumb (we’re looking at you, Martin and Solrock). Having said that, real players can also be pretty dumb, so that’s not vitally important.

You cannot use your own Pokémon; instead, you can choose from three rental Pokémon. Once everyone is chosen, you will be fighting four Raid Battles, the last of which is a Legendary. Any Pokémon you defeat can be replaced with what you are currently using. This can be really useful when your health is low or the Pokémon in question is particularly strong.

If you’ve fought a Legendary before that you didn’t catch, you can try beating them again. Otherwise, it is selected at random. If you beat and catch all the Pokémon you find, you can choose one to take with you. However, it’s not always that simple.

If you and your teammates’ Pokémon faint a total of four times, they’ll kick you out of the lair. The same is true when 10 turns pass in a single battle. In this scenario, you can still pick up one of the Pokémon you’ve caught so far, if applicable.

Pokémon Crown Tundra Legendaries – The Road to Victory

Dynamax Adventures lets you choose the route to take through the dens. If you are with other people, you are taking the path with the most votes. You can see which main type each den corresponds to, and that should influence your thinking. Use the right joystick to scroll up and see what kind of legendary this is. For example, if it’s Psychic, make sure you try to pick up a powerful Dark, Bug, or Steel Pokémon along the way.

There are also some helpful people you may meet along the way:

• the hiker It offers you a variety of items for your Pokémon.
• the scientist allows you to change your current Pokémon to a random Pokémon.
• the berries heal your Pokémon for about half of its maximum health.

What is the best? It depends on the circumstances. Blackberries are always good when your team has been through tough battles. Personally, I only use the Scientist when my Pokemon is weak or unhealthy. Sometimes you get lucky and you get a Mimikyu, but you can also get something totally unnecessary. It’s important to remember that your Pokémon doesn’t heal between fights, so healing or trading your Pokémon often makes the difference between winning and losing. After all, you only have four “lives”.

Having said that, I think the backpacker is actually the most useful. If you can, grab a Life Orb or Scraps. Other than that, anything that heals your Pokemon or increases its strength is a safe bet.

Pokémon Crown Tundra Legendary – Final Tips

If you’ve done Max Raid Battles before, Dynamax Adventures should be pretty straightforward. However, victory is by no means guaranteed. There are a few other things you can do to maximize your chances.

Make sure your Pokémon has at least one super effective move against Legendary if possible. As we have seen, you can scroll up with the right joystick to immediately see the main legendary type. If you haven’t memorized the type table as multiplication tables, give it a quick Google; you have plenty of time between rounds.

There are a few things to keep in mind to give your team more stamina. Light Screen and Reflect halve the damage taken by special and physical attacks, respectively. Life Dew heals all the Pokémon on your team a bit.

Inflicting status conditions, especially Frozen and Paralyzing opponents, can be very helpful. Keep in mind that Legendaries will recover from their status requirements fairly quickly, so this isn’t always something you can trust.

Movements to increase statistics are very circumstantial. Legendary Pokémon will neutralize all stat changes at different intervals, and it’s worth keeping an eye out for. There is nothing worse than performing a sword dance on your Scyther to have his attack attack canceled before he can move again.

Finally, Dynamax when you can. You don’t always know what your teammates have in mind, so unless your Pokemon is completely useless, it’s never a bad idea to Dynamax when it’s your turn. This allows you to select super powerful moves with additional effects. It’s worth placing a grassy field where you can, as this heals all Pokémon for a small amount.
