A major Nintendo Switch update has been released. Upgrade the system firmware to version 11.0.0. Below are the full patch notes, courtesy of Nintendo’s official support page:
Ver.11.0.0 (released November 30, 2020)
Nintendo Switch Online has been added to the HOME Menu.
Added new feature that automatically uploads saved data saved to data backup cloud.
- When you use software with the same Nintendo Account linked to multiple systems, data saved from one console will be automatically downloaded to your other systems.
* To use this feature, it must be enabled in System Settings> Data Management> Save Data to Cloud.
* Recorded data will not be downloaded automatically unless recorded data for this software exists on the console. For the first time only, users need to download the recorded data manually.
* Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use the Save Data Cloud service.
Added a new trend feature to the user page.

- Users can check what software their friends are playing or what they have recently started playing.
The information will not be shown to friends whose online status is set so that it is not shown to anyone.
Users can now transfer screenshots and videos from the album to their smart devices.
- Users can wirelessly connect their smart devices to Nintendo Switch to transfer screenshots and videos saved to their album.
- For screenshots, users can upload a maximum of 10 screenshots and 1 video capture at a time.
* To log in, users must use their smart device to scan the QR code displayed on the Nintendo Switch screen.

Added a new Copy to PC via USB function in System Settings> Data Management> Manage Screenshots and Videos.
- Users can use a USB cable to connect Nintendo Switch to their computer to copy screenshots and videos saved in the album.
* A USB charging cable [model HAC-010] or a USB-IF certified USB cable that supports data transfer is required to connect to a computer.

* Connection via Nintendo Switch docking station is not supported. Connect the Nintendo Switch console directly to the computer.
Users can now select which download to prioritize when multiple downloads are in progress.
- When multiple software, update data, or downloadable content downloads are in progress, users can now select which one they want to download first.
- You can configure this in the Download Options by selecting the icon of the software you want to download first from the HOME menu.
User icons added.
- Added 12 user icons commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. series.
Users can now name predefined button assignments with the Edit Button Assignments feature.
Added Brazilian Portuguese as a supported language.
- When users set their US region and language to Portuguese, the language used in the HOME menu and some software is displayed in Brazilian Portuguese.
Various issues have been fixed, and usability and stability have been improved.
