Currently, The PlayStation 5 does not allow you to install, store, or play next-gen games other than on its internal SSD.

When fill the internal SSD, the only option available is to delete games to free up space. This is of concern given that the console ships with a relatively thin 667 GB usable storage space and does not support external storage. SSD
(which could presumably play next-gen games) at launch.

No window has been given to know when an update will allow SSD storage.
