According to British pollster Redfield & Wilton Strategies, about 77 percent of Germans believed that China was partly responsible for the coronavirus and 34 percent were responsible for it. The results come after US leader Donald Trump and other populists called it "the Chinese virus", despite calls from the UN not to do so. The virus originated from natural causes in Wuhan, China last December, according to scientific consensus.
