This package contains the files needed to install the Intel Serial IO driver. If it is already installed, an update (overwrite installation) may solve the problem, add new features or extend existing features. Install the driver through the installer:

-Copy and unzip the Intel serial IO driver to the tested platform.
-Locate the “SetupSerialIO.exe” file.
-Right-click the executable file and select the “Run as administrator” option from the menu to start the installer, and then click the “Yes” button in the “User Account Control” pop-up window.
-You should see a welcome screen with component details. Click the “Next>” button to continue the installation.

Install the driver silently through the installer

-Change the directory to the directory where the driver was unzipped in step 1, and then change to the “Driver_Installer” directory.
-To view all available options of the installer, run the command “SetupSerialIO.exe-?”

-Copy and unzip the Intel serial IO driver to the tested platform.
-Find the INF file. (IaLPSS_GPIO.inf, iaLPSS_I2C.inf, iaLPSS_SPI.inf, iaLPSS_UART2.inf)
-Right-click the INF file, and select the “Install” option from the menu to start the installation, and then click the “Yes” button in the pop-up window.
-After installing all the drivers, restart the system.
