2 Ton Studios announced that its challenging combat adventure game, Until the end, will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 9.
The independent title features artisanal combat encounters involving a “humble father” who desperately tries to reunite with his family. Alone and unmatched by his enemies, man must use his sword, dagger and intelligence to outwit his opponents and succeed.
Until the end includes the following features:
- Read-React Combat – Unique skill and mastery driven combat system designed and built from the ground up specifically for 2D. Fight intelligently and attack tactically with your sword and ranged weapons in fierce individual and group battles.
- Shaded Handcrafted Encounters: The adventure unfolds through carefully crafted encounters, each with smart and worthy opponents, all with their own motivations and place in the world.
- Focused on Player Skill – A challenging single player experience with minimal grip. All the abilities of parents are available from the start and mastery of these abilities, along with careful observation of their surroundings, is the key to survival and success.
- Relentless Terrain – From cavernous underground ruins to rugged mountain peaks, overcome environmental challenges and death traps as you journey through a world of meticulously designed landscapes.
On the PlayStation blog, 2 Ton Studios stated that although Until the end it is a challenge, it is not unnecessarily difficult. Players will have several ways of dealing with enemy encounters and the game will become easier once we get used to it. “Being careful and careful, exploring the nooks and crannies of the world, should give you more tools to work, open up alternatives to struggle,” the study writes.
